Pat Sommers’ Rock Shop offers students ages 8-18 the opportunity to perfect their musical abilities, work within a band, write music, and learn performance techniques under the direction of industry veteran, Pat Sommers.
Pat Sommers has an infectious enthusiasm that connects with kids in the same way he grabs an audience when he performs on stage. The Kids Wanna Rock and Rock Shop programs are led exclusively by Pat Sommers giving students the opportunity to learn from and perform with an accomplished Rock n’ Roll musician.
Pat Sommers Rock Shop also provides music lessons for autistic children, rather than the widely celebrated traditional music-based therapy, and is the first of its kind in the Washington DC area. Each lesson is tailored to the specific needs of each student.
